Charlotte Nightingale
Founder TETKNIGHT, TEF-Ghana Charlotte is a qualified Midwife and a RELATE trained Counsellor. Her Midwifery career spans 30 years in the NHS. During the proceeding period, Charlotte was engaged by two large multi-nationals, a Life Assurance company and a Pharmaceutical company, as in-house Counsellor, spanning 15 years.
During the same period Charlotte was engaged by National RELATE to coordinate a Public Education Programme to targeted groups in London, Birmingham and Manchester. The programme included Radio phone in, to offer help, support and to highlight the services provided by RELATE – the former Marriage Guidance Council.
In 1982 Charlotte, together with Dr Donald Dawson, Air Vice Marshal Nigel Blair-Oliphant OBE., Ben Tetteh, and Jerry Tetteh, (Ghana) worked with GHANAHELP, a UK based philanthropic organisation, to provide Water and a Village Clinic for the people of Kwabenya.
The programme is currently incorporated into TETKNIGHT EDUCATION and YOUNG FARMERS, with a Women’s Self-help Enterprise, a UK registered Charitable Organisation.
These African projects aim at meeting the objectives of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDG).

Charlotte currently works part-time in private practice in Integrated Psychological Interventions.
