Covid 19 hit Charlotte’s fundraising and training programmes hard. Her local supporters responded in kind , enabling Charlotte and husband Albert to continue to dispatch to Ghana consignments of much-needed laptops, printers, stationery, books, market gardening tools and other useful items. All these gifts help children, families, horticultural students, schools and young female entrepreneurs towards fulfilling their potential.
The approx. 4,500 mile journey by land and sea to Accra takes three to four weeks and the same van goes all the way, uninterrupted!
Here in Accra, in 2021, are TETKNIGHT Director, Jerry Tetteh, and Project Secretary, Harriet Johnston, unpacking the latest batch of U.K. donations.
Through generous support, and her own tenacity, Charlotte regularly sends two consignments a year.
